5 Tips to manage open pores

Our skin, apart from the hands and feet, is covered by tiny hairs. Each hair follicle has a pore at the top of it, not visible to the human eyes. The hair follicle has a sebaceous gland ,which produces oil. When oil is released by the sebaceous gland, it comes to the top of the skin and gets collected in the pore.

Pores help the skin to breathe. They cannot be opened or closed. Neither can they be made smaller. However their appearance can be reduced by cleansing and toning them. Deep cleansing can make the pores look smaller or closed.

Having large, open pores can be a cosmetic concern as it gives your skin a dull appearance, especially when clogged with dirt or oil.

Common reasons of enlarged-looking pores:
